Well, I would say that, if upgrading creates an overall better GTI experience, I'm all for it. I think, keeping archival version of the old site would be good.

I follow the crowd. It will be a shame not to have all the great threads together, but if it's in GTI's best interest and we can still access it, I'm happy!

Just make sure private threads stay private. If that means they don't make it into the archive, I'm okay with that.

yeah, an upgrade would be lovely! and an archive would be a nice wee bonus.

It would be nice to have us all on one site that is consistent with pictures and links etc. I'm only weary of the archive because I like to leave my toys out instead of putting them up on the shelf.

I am just surprised that Ben still remembers us. I was starting to feel like we were living in a remote valley after a nuclear holocaust and couldn't work out if there was a world still out there and if anyone would ever come and find us. If that's not overstretching a metaphor.
