According to one uber-conservative Christian sect, the greyhound massacre a little while back was proof that God hates Canada for legalizing same-sex marriages. Following that logic, is the housing bubble and current state of the US market proof that God hates the US practice of imperialism at all costs?

@Ghostie: The stabbing / gutting / beheading of a 20-something young man on a Canadian Greyhound about two months ago. The sect in question actually traveled from the US to Canada to stage a demonstration at the young man's funeral. (And... to make it even "better"... the young man who was murdered was STRAIGHT!)
