At the risk of being old meme...
...this is a pretty darn good fanmade "Dr Horrible" prequel.
And I gotta say, it won me over as I watched it. From the beginning, I expected it to follow on the heels of "Dr Horrible" too doggedly, what with "Dr Horrible's faith in goodness is destroyed because he loses the girl he loves" but the execution and some of the scriptural moments were quite awesome. And I like that it ends up telling us more about Captain Hammer than anyone else (excep for where his actual powers came from...). And make sure to watch all 10 parts even after "the end"!
I actually quite like the appellation "Boring Girls' Club." It makes me think of prim librarian-type girls with oversized lenses perched on their noses sitting around an attic knitting doilies and holding forth overly elaborate analyses on the meter scheme of "Aurora Leigh," and if I could either knit or care much about "Aurora Leigh," I'd be all over that!
I saw Star Trek and it was really fun. Also, an adventure.
Ohman ohman ohman this is awesome.
A demonstration of Sixth Sense: a wearable camera-plus-computer that basically turns you into a walking cyborg model. All the sci-fi movies ever coming true. (Except for those damn hoverboards.)
This is perfect.
"Galaxy's centre tastes of raspberries and smells of rum, say astronomers.
The hunt for chemicals in deep space that could seed life on other planets has yielded a large, fruity molecule."
